I was asked to make a piece that involved the space it was to inhabit, a former fitting room in an old department store. Nothing seemed right about anything related to the exhibition, so I decided to make everything about this piece as awkward and wrong as possible. It really kills one of the two good spaces in the show. This show became known infamously as "the bad art show."
