This desk is built from bamboo plywood, a material that is eco-friendly in as much as bamboo grows back in 1/10th the time it takes for trees to reach maturity. It supports two people, a husband and wife in their home office in Queens NY, with a storage cabinet, a file drawer, and a pencil drawer. The custom design process was able to accommodate their different preferences with a keyboard pullout on one side and another pencil drawer on the other side. One corner is rounded to soften the path of entry into the room.
